Compris’ Founders: Calvin and Joyce Ann McGinn

Hi Everyone,

We are thrilled to have been selected by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL) to participate in their Innovation Accelerator Program. In conjunction with MATTER, this includes a three month mentorship with key BCBSIL leaders. (Please click here to learn more.)

As Compris’ co-founders, we applied our six decades of combined personal and career experience in healthcare, counseling and specialized therapies, to a shared vision to develop the first comprehensive addiction diagnostics and risk-stratification assessment, prevention and treatment guide consistent with a chronic illness paradigm.

Compris is a data-driven path to illness and population health equity for those with substance addictions. It offers providers quantifiable prevention, treatment, and ongoing wellness guidance, supports increased tele-health and alternative treatment access, and creates an unprecedented research and practice-informing database with machine learning to accelerate our knowledge of how best to treat and manage this devastating chronic illness.

We are so excited for this wonderful opportunity with BCBSIL to learn and grow.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

Stay safe and healthy.
